We are looking to hire a Broadcast/Transmitter Engineer who will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining transmitter systems used in various communication applications. Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor and maintain radio transmission equipment and broadcast systems.
- Ensure consistent and high-quality audio and video signal transmission.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on transmission systems.
- Diagnose and resolve technical faults to minimize on-air downtime.
- work closely with production, studio and IT teams to ensure seamless broadcast operations.
- Implement safety and security measures for all broadcast and transmission equipment.
- Ensure compliance with national broadcasting standards and licensing regulation in transmission operations.
- Install, align and test transmitters, antennas and related broadcast hardware.
Requirements:
- Degree in a related field
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a similar role
