Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required for the Job:
Minimum of ND/NCE/Certificates in Food science and Technology, science laboratory technology, Chemical/Mechanical engineering and any other related courses, or SSCE with relevant working experience in batch preparation with tubular Pasteurizer operations.
3 years relevant working experience in the manufacturing setting in FMCG industry.
knowledge of elecro pneumatic control panel.
Ability to handle viscous products. Knowledge in HACCP/GMP.
Experience In Tubular heat exchanger/Pasteurizer.
Knowledge in basic computer appreciations is required.
Mission and Long-Term Goal: To carry out all batch mixing processes that promote excellence in food safety, quality and quantity productivity, cost management in accordance with the company’s budget and time lines.
Short-Term Goal: To work with the line manager, enginerring manager, GM Processing, and other team members to install and calibrate all machinery and tools, set up production batch mixing processes and procedures (SOP), and drive factory setup so that Tomato Jos can commission the facility in February 2021 and conduct a commercial production run in March.
To operate steam feeding group with manual valve, filter, pneumatic regulation valves, steam injector unit, safety valves, inlet and out let water temperature transmitters.
To ensure an optimal heat penetration inside the product and homogenous temperature profile across the product section.
To develop and manage program for Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) and sterilization of product line using caustic soda, Nitric acid and Rinse water.
To effectively carry out Mixing of tomatoes to standard recipe specification.
