Audit/Inspection Officer

• Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts
• Update the Excel Client sheets for Monthly Debtors and Repayments
• Audit Bank statements and Cash Book reconciliations
• Audit and update Journals, General Ledger, and Monthly transaction/Proofs 
• Cross-check final accounts and opening credit memos and disbursement sheets
• Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems, invoicing
• Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported
• Conversant analyzing fees, interest income, investment income, commissions, and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately every month   

Requirements:

• HND/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking,  Marketing, and Personnel Management or any other related field. 
• Additional Post Graduate qualifications or any technical and professional qualification will be an advantage
• Candidate's ability to use Excel sheets, Microsoft Word, and Google suits/ file sharing with team members is required
• Ability to access virtual work, WhatsApp phone, Prompt Email Tracking, online capacity, and Microsoft Teams meeting or zoom
• Have good interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, team member tolerance, efficiency in client online communication customer balances  reconciliation, recoveries, and effective management reports
• Have good computer skills (must be fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
