Job Summary

We are seeking a results-driven Assistant Sales Manager to join our workforce to increase the market share of the business and increase business revenue. The Assistant Sales Manager will bring in new clients for the business across key markets in the country while also maintaining existing clients and growing business relationships.

Job Description/Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Develop sales strategies that lead to revenue generation for the business. 
  • Meet monthly sales targets as laid out by the CEO 
  • Develop, expand and manage existing and future sales channels 
  • Develop strategies to build and push the brand to become known and well patronized 
  • Develop business strategies to improve customer service, drive sales, grow existing customer base and increase profitability 
  • Maintain high store standards and conditions and foster a positive environment 
  • Coordinate field sales agents and representatives 
  • Effectively utilize social media to drive sales and brand awareness 
  • Ensure high-level customer satisfaction through excellent service 
  • Ensure customer’s needs are met, complaints are resolved and service is quick and efficient 
  • The manager must ensure that sufficient inventory is available at all times to avoid being “out of stock” 
  • Keep abreast of competitor’s products and actions 
  • Propose innovative ideas to increase market share 
  • Scouting for and attending events and fairs that would enhance business visibility and add value to the business 
  • Gives updates to CEO about the business through a periodic report

  • Train and develop the sales team 
  • Plan daily sales activities 
  • Identify opportunities for improvements and recommendations
