Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers to find the best options for the organization.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
- Create and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Handle discrepancies and resolve issues with orders and deliveries.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand purchasing requirements and timelines.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for cost reduction.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
- Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analysis and supplier performance.
- Analyze market conditions to determine current and future material availability and cost trends.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain (e.g., CIPS, CPSM).
- Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft suite
- Proven experience as a procurement executive or in a similar role.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Knowledge of supply chain and inventory management.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- High attention to detail and accuracy
