Requirements 

∙ Must reside within Oyo State or other neighboring States around Oyo  State 

∙ Be willing and ready to work at the Company Plantations in Iseyin (Oyo  State) on a 2 weeks by 2 weeks rotation (2 weeks on duty at Iseyin and 2  weeks off duty back home) 

Qualifications 

∙ BSc Agronomy, Crop Science, Soil Science or any other Agric related field ∙ MSc/ MBA is an added advantage 

∙ Project Management Qualification/ Experience will be an advantage 

∙ Minimum of 5 Years Experience in Crops Production 

∙ Minimum of 3 Years Experience in a Supervisory or Managerial Role 

Job Description 

The successful candidate will run the daily Operations of the Plantation while  directing and coordinating activities of Operations Assistant, Farm Supervisors  and Farm Hands. Below are some of the activities involved; 

∙ Interact and engage Agric Consultants in the efficient management of  the Plantations

∙ Lead the Planning and Establishment of new Plantations 

∙ Execute the Strategies and Plans of the Company 

∙ Ensure good weed control using chemical and mechanical means 

∙ Ensure good pests and disease control 

∙ Proper soil and nutrient management 

∙ Develop Farm calendars and deliver on plans as scheduled 

∙ Liaise with the Security Team and other colleagues in the smooth running of the Plantations, etc.  

Skills 

∙ Excellent Leadership and Supervisory skills 

∙ Good Communication and Analytical skills 

∙ Solid Technical knowledge in the areas of Crops Production, Pest Control  and Disease Prevention/ Management 

∙ Attention to details and the ability to deliver results with determination
