Aesthetic Doctor

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed client assessments to evaluate skin, facial, and body conditions and recommend the most suitable aesthetic treatments based on individual needs and goals.
• Perform advanced non-surgical aesthetic procedures such as Botox, dermal fillers, PRP, chemical peels, laser treatments, and skin rejuvenation therapies safely and effectively.
• Provide thorough pre-treatment consultations by explaining treatment options, expected results, possible risks, and aftercare requirements to help clients make informed decisions.
• Monitor and manage client progress after treatments through follow-up sessions, addressing any concerns and adjusting treatment plans where necessary for optimal results.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records by documenting consultations, treatment plans, procedures, and progress notes in compliance with medical regulations.
• Ensure strict adherence to clinical safety and hygiene standards by maintaining a sterile environment, properly sanitizing equipment, and following health and safety protocols.
• Recommend and prescribe medical-grade skincare products and routines to complement treatments and support clients in achieving and maintaining healthy skin.
• Collaborate with other medical professionals such as dermatologists and nurses to ensure holistic care and alignment with the clinic’s medical and ethical standards.
• Educate and guide clients on available aesthetic services, upcoming treatments, and complementary procedures to enhance their results and improve overall satisfaction.
• Stay updated on trends and advancements in aesthetic medicine by engaging in continuous learning to provide clients with the latest and most effective treatment options.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from a recognized institution
• Valid practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
• Additional certification or training in Aesthetic Medicine, Dermatology, or Cosmetic Procedures is an advantage.
• Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in medical practice, with at least 3 years in aesthetic medicine, dermatology, or cosmetic treatments.
• Hands-on expertise in injectables, laser therapies, and advanced skin rejuvenation procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong client service and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and precision in performing procedures.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to explain procedures and manage client expectations clearly.
• Commitment to high standards of hygiene, safety, and ethics.
• Strong understanding of aesthetic treatments, including injectables, PRP, laser therapies, and advanced skin rejuvenation techniques.
• Good knowledge of facial anatomy, skin science, and dermatological conditions relevant to aesthetic procedures.
• Understanding of medical-grade skincare products and their active ingredients.
