Job Summary
Our organization was established in 2020 as a private residential and commercial developer in Nigeria and Africa with its base in Awka, the Capital City of Anambra State We have over time developed expertise, experience and machinery required for conceptualization and implementation of contemporary housing projects. Our goal is to be at the forefront of residential and commercial real estate development in Nigeria and also in Africa; thus designing and building standard residential properties and commercial assets as good investment returns remains pivotal to our vision.

Job Description/Requirements
Financial Accounting Duties & Responsibilities ranging from bookkeeping & maintaining accounting schedules/records to monthly closure of accounts, finalization, and year-end financials including an annual financial audit by external auditors.
Managing the bank accounts, Inc. bank reconciliation & extensive PDC management
Processing monthly property-related expenses for payment purposes
A/C Payables management inc. preparing/issuing cheques, TTs & accounting entries
Cashflows forecasting
Monitor owner's funds' availability for drawings etc.
Records of maintenance aspects of the properties inc. long-term supplier contracts
Value Added Tax Accounting Inc. Tax Invoicing & FTA VAT Returns
Construction Work In Progress Accounting, Schedules & Budgets/Variances
All Documentation aspects of the above areas of responsibility
Use of accounting software
Understand, manage, and supervise all aspects of cash flow.
Forecast daily cash requirements and execute daily financing decisions.
Manage all aspects of In-house investment portfolios, i.e. Deposit.
Prepare or monitor the company’s various cash flow forecasts and perform financial modeling.
Evaluate, develop, and implement cash management systems to optimize efficiencies.
Understand and manage appropriate accounting procedures and processes.
Manage relationships with financial service providers.
Monitor bank service fees and address quality issues.
Conduct benchmark studies of banks and their services to evaluate whether it fits the Group requirements.
Manage, direct, and develop Cash Management staff.
Recommend, implement, and maintain process improvements.
Other Accounting Duties & responsibilities as may be delegated from time to time
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of B.Sc (Second Class Upper) or HND (Upper Credit) Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or any related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in financial accounting and management reporting in a well-structured organization.
- The professional qualification must be ACCA, ACA (Or at the final level of exams).
- Direct experience in accounting software like SAP, QuickBooks, or SAGE is compulsory
