The LPG Accountant is responsible for the accurate and timely financial management of all activities related to the company's Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) operations. This includes overseeing inventory management, sales and purchase accounting, cost analysis, reconciliation of stock and sales data, and ensuring compliance.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
- Monitor and reconcile LPG inventory levels at various locations (storage facilities, filling plants, etc.).
- Track LPG purchases, sales, and transfers, ensuring accurate recording of quantities and values.
- Conduct regular stock audits and investigate any discrepancies.
- Manage inventory control systems and procedures to minimize losses and optimize stock levels.
- Forecast LPG demand and collaborate with the procurement team to ensure adequate supply.
Sales and Purchase Accounting:
- Process sales invoices and credit notes for LPG sales to customers.
- Verify and record purchase invoices from LPG suppliers.
- Reconcile sales and purchase data with inventory records.
- Prepare and analyze sales and purchase reports, identifying trends and variances.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of all LPG related transactions in the accounting system.
Cost Analysis:
- Analyze LPG production, distribution, and storage costs.
- Allocate costs to different product lines or customer segments.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Prepare cost reports and provide insights to management.
Reconciliation and Reporting:
- Reconcile LPG stock and sales data with third-party data (e.g., suppliers, distributors).
- Prepare regular financial reports related to LPG operations, including inventory reports, sales reports, and profitability analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Provide support for internal and external audits.
Compliance and Regulatory:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards
- Stay updated on changes in regulations and accounting practices.
- Maintain proper documentation and records related to LPG transactions.
Other Duties:
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., operations, sales, logistics) to ensure smooth LPG operations.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- 1 year experience
- Degree in Accounting
