Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting regulations, and providing financial insights to support business decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a commitment to maintaining the highest levels of integrity and transparency.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and bank statements.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, and reconciling discrepancies.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing analysis and recommendations.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial statements, reports, and summaries in accordance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and other regulatory documents.
- Audit Preparation: Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and information.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
- Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis and provide recommendations for cost control and reduction.
- Payroll Processing: Oversee payroll processing, ensuring compliance with payroll laws and accurate disbursement of employee wages.
- Internal Controls: Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) for day-to-day financial operations and reporting.
- Communication: Liaise with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and tax authorities, as needed.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
