Our company is currently looking to hire a Head of the Accounting department to join our team in FCT Abuja, Nigeria to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments, receivables, and variable expenses to deposits and budgets.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial operations and ensure that accurate financial statements are produced promptly.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Prepare and oversee budgets and financial projections.
- Ensure that the company’s financial records are organized and accurate.
- Act as a financial advisor to senior management.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate financial reports for senior management and external stakeholders.
- Manage and develop the accounting team to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Liaise with external auditors and other financial professionals.
- Analyze financial data and develop strategies to increase profitability and reduce costs.
- Monitor cash flow and liquidity and advise on strategies to maintain a strong financial position.
Requirements:
- 3 years of cognate experience in Accounting
- Degree in Accounting or relevant fields
