Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide key business information and analysis to support expense, headcount, and volumetric targets.
- Monitor general ledger entries and processing streams to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Prepare and analyze financial performance reports, identifying trends and providing actionable insights.
- Collaborate with department leaders to develop and forecast capital, expense, and personnel budgets.
- Ensure ethical and effective application of accounting guidelines, standards, procedures, and policies.
- Offer expertise in utilizing financial data for business planning and performance evaluation.
- Supervise accounting activities and guide junior staff, leveraging extensive experience in accounting practices.
- Perform meal sheets verification, prepare and endorse Meal Summary Sheets, Job Completion Certificates, and Statements of Work.
- Collate and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics, including menus, customer surveys, and contract compliance.
- Manage and maintain the Catering SharePoint site, supporting automation and online reporting tools.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Extensive experience in accounting, with proficiency in GAAP and financial systems.
- Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and performance evaluation processes.
- Experience with metrics reporting and compliance analysis.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of SharePoint management and automation tools is an advantage.
- Strong ethical standards and attention to detail in applying accounting principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Ability to supervise and mentor junior staff, demonstrating leadership and expertise in the field.
