Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial activities for the Offside Bar and Restaurant, including daily transactions, payroll, and expenses.
• Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide insights into the financial health of the business.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Monitor cash flow and manage financial forecasts to ensure the bar and restaurant have adequate resources.
• Conduct regular audits and reconcile accounts to maintain accurate financial records.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring that all tax obligations are met.
• Collaborate with management to develop financial strategies and plans that align with business goals.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Bsc. Accounting, business administration, or related filed.
• Strong numerical skills and proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
• Keen attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and errors.
• Solid understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and best practices in accounting.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• High level of integrity and trustworthiness in handling sensitive financial information.
• Strong communication skills, able to present financial information clearly and effectively.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
