Job Summary

We are looking for an Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. Accountant responsibilities include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements, and calculating tax payments and returns. The successful candidate must possess a thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and sound judgment.

  • Minimum Qualification: HND
  • Experience Level: Entry level
  • Experience Length: 2 years

Job Description/Requirements


  • Tracking payments to internal and external stakeholders

  • Preparing budget forecasts

  • Processing tax payments and returns

  • Prepare sales and purchase control account

  • Contact customers for further information/queries at the appropriate time.

  • Develop and revise fraud detective system

  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable

  • Ensure timely bank payments

  • Manage the inventories.

  • Publish financial statements in time

  • Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings

  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements

  • Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity

  • Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary

  • Comply with financial policies and regulations

  • Performing other duties as may be assigned


  • Proven working experience as Accountant

  • Advanced computer skills on MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables, accounting software, and databases

  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports

  • Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules, and regulations

  • High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills

  • Sound independent judgment


  • BSC or HND in Accounting, Finance, or any other related course

  • ICAN is a plus

  • 2 or more years of working experience as an Internal auditor  in a hospitality industry
