Job Summary

The staff accountant will perform accounting-related duties and work closely with the General Manager to oversee every other department in order to achieve organizational goals.

  • Minimum Qualification : Degree
  • Experience Level : Entry level
  • Experience Length : 2 years
  • Working Hours : Full Time

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Controlling the payroll.
  • Producing an accurate set of month-end accounts, with comparisons to forecasts and previous periods.
  • Preparing profit and loss accounts and the balance sheet for senior management.
  • Assisting in preparing budgets and business planning, including projected room revenue
  • Reconciling bank statements.
  • Ensuring legislation is followed regarding VAT and PAYE.
  • Chasing late payments, reporting bad debts, and keeping a careful eye on the cash flow.


Requirements:

  • Must have experience in hotel accounting.
  • 2 years experience
  • Degree in Accounting
