Job Description/Requirements
KEY FUNCTIONS
- Collecting, interpreting, and reviewing financial information
- Predicting future financial trends
- Reporting to management and stakeholders, and providing advice on how the company and future business decisions might be impacted
- Producing financial reports related to income, assets and liabilities, budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses, etc.
- Developing long-term business plans based on these reports
- Reviewing, monitoring, and managing budgets
- Developing strategies that work to minimize financial risk
- Analyzing market trends and competitors
- Preparing Financial Reports
- Manage Financial transactions
- Evaluate and manage Financial Risk
- Develop plans for Financial growth
- Coordinate the audit process
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
- Ability to manage Financial Risk and boost the bottom line
- Timelines in delivery of required Compliance Certificates
- Timelines in delivery of signed Audited Financial Statements
- Accuracy of General Ledger
- Maintaining a sound internal control process that reduces leakages and errors
- % increase Operating Profit Margin
REQUIREMENTS
- An analytical mind
- HND / BSc in Accounting from a reputable and recognized institution
- Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
- Commercial and business awareness
- Good communication skills – both written and verbal
- A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
- Ability to multitask and cope effectively under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Audit experience
