Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Academic Head to lead our educational and training initiatives. The ideal candidate will oversee the design, implementation, and management of all academic programs, ensuring they meet industry standards and incorporate the latest technological advancements. This role will drive curriculum development, faculty management, and overall academic excellence.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Academic Leadership & Strategy: Provide vision and direction for the institution’s academic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Curriculum & Program Development: Design, implement, and continuously improve academic programs to meet industry and technological standards.
  • Faculty & Team Management: Recruit, mentor, and manage faculty and academic teams, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure academic programs meet regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and internal quality benchmarks.
  • Industry & Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, stakeholders, and educational networks to enhance program relevance and impact.

 

Requirements:

  • B.Sc. or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an academic leadership role, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
  • Proven experience in curriculum development, instructional design, and faculty management.
  • Strong understanding of emerging technologies, industry trends, and tech education methodologies.
  • Experience with e-learning platforms, online course development, and digital learning technologies.
  • Familiarity with accreditation processes, regulatory requirements, and industry certifications.

  • Strategic Thinking: Capable of developing long-term academic plans aligned with company goals.
  • Curriculum Development: Expertise in designing and updating tech-focused learning programs.

  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Innovation & Research: Ability to drive research initiatives and implement innovative learning approaches.
