Job Summary

Under the supervision of the HR & Admin Manager, this position will lead, manage and ensure successful development and implementations of T&D programs for Tavia Academy. The position will also help to strengthen the skills, knowledge and training needs of new and existing employees at all levels within the organisation.

  • Responsible for identifying, planning, organizing, coordinating, managing and reporting academy trainees’ training and development needs of the organization
  • Work with HR & Admin Manager, as well as Departmental, Heads to build and implement the annual training and development needs of Tavia based on planned budget.
  • Work with employees to identify, document and manage Personal Development Plans and ensure they fall within an organization’s goals and objectives
  • Coordinate and manage educational provision, facilitation and feedback of the academy
  • Will be the liaison officer between the academy, trainees and the trainers
  • Ensure that appropriate training regulations are developed and adhered to
  • Provide the academy with opportunities for research, development and innovation
  • aimed at producing graduates that match the organization’s goals and objectives
  • Produce periodic feedback and evaluation reports on academy students/graduates
  • Act as the liaison and coordinator of programs conducted by external training partners for Tavia.
  • Provide feedback on budgets, expenditures, training impact and ROI on the training academy.
  • Perform all other HR & Administration functions as will be assigned.

Qualification & Experience

  • BSc. Business Administration, HRM or related disciplines
  • An MBA or relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience in the same or similar role
