Job Description

A contemporary travel agency is seeking to engage Ticketing / Reservation officers to join its growing team of vibrant  individuals. 


Responsibilities:

Make reservations/bookings for customers

Assist customers in planning their itineraries

Attend to customer enquiry

Follow up on enquiries and convert to sales

Provide travels and tour advice to customers e.g visa required, location suggestions etc

Assist customers in planning, choosing and arranging locations on a budget for their holidays

Offer advice and suggestions to customers on local tourist attractions and events at chosen locations

Promote agency services and products

Calculate fares accurately

Number of tickets issued

Accuracy of bookings

Customer satisfaction through feedback


Work Experience

Minimum of 1-year working experience


Skills 

Basic Computer Proficiency 

Data entry experience

Good communication skill

Good customer relations skill

Fluency in English language any other Nigerian language is an added advantage



Knowledge

Adept in the use of Galileo, Saber and Amadeus platforms

Proficient in the use of office equipment such as scanners, copiers etc


Competencies/Abilities

Attention to details

Multi-tasking abilities

Ability to work in team

Ability to work under pressure

Minimum of Higher School Certificate. Certification in travel related applications is an added advantage
