Job Description:

  • Execution of projects on time, within budget and to match or exceed client and Firm expectations
  • Result-orientated business development and market penetration efforts through the generation of marketable ideas and client relationship building
  • Supervise and mentor the development of younger consultants assigned to the team
  • Keeping abreast of global and industry best practice and market needs
  • Provide business analysis area assessment, the user needs analysis and business systems design for major jobs.
  • Assist and conduct comprehensive cost/benefit analysis and preparation of business cases for new projects
  • Oversee projects being assigned to intermediate or junior level staff.
  • Lead project management via management of end to end system life cycle development of major projects.

Assessing and reviewing: -

  • Strategic consulting, including business plan and sales strategy
  • Strategic consulting for clients on how to align IT goals with business goals and objectives
  • Strategic consulting on processes and business architecture and management
  • Providing on and off-site consultancy support to clients in developing and implementing information security management processes and procedure

Consulting lifecycle management:

  • Prospecting, Marketing and Business Development
  • Development of EOI, proposals, response to RFPs, RFI, ITB, SOW, etc
  • Management of projects lifecycle: Initiation, Implementation, reporting and closure
  • Responsible for finalising and delivering reports outlining test results and delivering presentations to technical management

Key Performance Indicator:

  • Satisfied/delighted customers (apparent through positive formal/informal client feedback, prompt payment, repeat business)
  • Product enhancement, market development evidenced by follow-through of existing leads/projects (repeat business)
  • Effective opportunity identification, feedback to MD/AP & subsequent follow-through
  • Group/firm KD’s, circulation of white papers, relevant reference materials group/firm-wide
  • Job independence/confidence of junior consultants
  • Complete project management front end to end

Job Requirement

Education 

  • Minimum of a first degree or its equivalent in a business /IT related discipline
  • MBA is essential
  • Recognized professional certification in at least six of the following: CISA, TOGAF, MSP, SFIA, CMMI, CISSP, CDPO, CISM, PRINCE2/PMP, CGEIT, ITIL Expert, CCNP, OCA, CEH, LPT, etc.

Experience 

  • 10+  years of experience in information technology
  • 5+ years of experience in technology consulting.

Knowledge

  • Proficient knowledge of business technology requirements and alignments
  • Knowledge of technology frameworks, concepts and best practices
  • Working knowledge of system implementation IT operating model designs
  • Proficient knowledge of IT sourcing, and requirements evaluation.
  • Proficient knowledge of IT Governance and organisation 
  • Good knowledge of IT metrics and dashboards
  • Proven technical aptitude in several relevant technology implementations
  • Proficient knowledge of enterprise architecture and business modelling
