Technical Sales Advisor Solar Energy

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Technical assistance for Fronius Sales Partners, installers and project Partners via Phone and e-mail
  • Organization, execution and documentation of product trainings and eventually online webinars
  • Support of the Area Sales Manager for Africa in the communication with customers
  • Regular visits of installers and Fronius Service Partners (FSPs) with latest product updates
  • Product presentations and sales trainings for Sales Partners
  • Participation at exhibitions on behalf of Fronius
  • Proactively working on Marketing activities
  • Maintenance of the customer contact data in MS CRM and insert the most important customer documentation and training participation
  • Exploration and acquisition of new customer segments (eg. banks and other service providers, commercial and industrial PV,...)
  • Constant monitoring and collection of feedback of potential new markets
  • Training and support of new employees in the region



  • Strong technical background and good electrotechnical understanding
  • Experience in handling of electronic systems
  • Willingness to travel and flexibility
  • Good ability to explain complex content in a refreshing and comprehensive way (during product trainings and customer visits)
  • Good self-organization
  • Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented and strong communication skills
  • Serious and authentic appearance
  • Social competence
  • Knowledge of renewable energy/photovoltaics would be advantageous
  • Experience in sales of technical products would be advantageous¬†
