Job Summary

To manage the Core Infrastructure team and provide effective guidance; also, to be responsible for supervising, managing and motivating.

Job Description

Mandatory Requirements:

(a)  Detailed technical knowledge of Operating System security

(b) Support IT Security Audits

(c)  Hands on experience in implementing, managing & supporting Enterprise Security Systems including: Intrusion Detection Systems, Endpoint Security, Data Loss Prevention, IAM and SIEM

(d) Experience with network security and networking technologies

(e) Experience with Security Assessments

(f)  Comprehensive knowledge of system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques

(g)  Knowledge and understanding of IT industry trends and emerging technologies and an   ability to relate them to the organization and its objectives.

(h) Knowledge of information security industry and regulatory obligations (PCI DSS, HIPAA, NIST, etc.)

(i) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

(j) Experience in deploying, managing and supporting McAfee based Solutions.

(k) Thorough understanding of the latest technologies, security principles, and protocols


 Responsibilities:

To participate in security audits and security log analysis for Clients as required by them.Delivery Support – To be responsible for supporting the delivering of business change initiatives, which includes project, environment management for Clients.Identify current and emerging technology issues including security trends, vulnerabilities and threats as required by Clients.Engineering Delivery – Responsible for enabling Clients to make better use of their environment, providing process improvements, drive engineering design, product strategy and ensuring all IT solutions are able to provide effective support to their business.Conduct proactive research to analyze security weaknesses (within the Client environment) and recommend appropriate strategies.Ensures a high performance, responsive and client-focused team.Fosters an environment of collaboration, inclusiveness, and diversity through leadership, communications, and demonstrated behaviors.Facilitate a culture of continuous improvement and collaborate effectively within the team.Monitor team members' participation to ensure the training provided to them is being put into use, and also to see if any additional training is needed.Develop a strategy that will enable the team to achieve its goals and objectives.Recommend and schedule assignments to complete support and project tasks, and verify quality of the overall work products.Contribute to the hiring, mentoring, performance management and retention of employees within the Core Infrastructure team.Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Core Infrastructure team, suggest and organize team-building activities.Provides on-call support as needed.
