Electronics diploma/degree holder
Build cables and harnesses for test fixture/product interface.
Proficiency in stripping, crimping, soldering, and solid-state circuitry.
Install surface mount components and hardware in housings or assemblies using soldering equipment, hand tools, and microscopes.
Assemble and test high-reliability wire harnesses, cable and electro-mechanical assemblies in accordance with documented procedures.
Interpret drawings and diagrams to determine procedures and method order of assembly.
Perform all crimping, stripping, soldering and other functions required for wire harnesses assembly.
Understand and follow wiring diagrams, layout drawings, mechanical drawings, instructions, schematics, and engineering drawings/designs.
Test performance of electromechanical assemblies, using oscilloscopes, electronic voltmeters, GO/NOGO gauges, multi-meters and bridges.
Basic understanding of network analysers, spectrum analysers, power meters and calibrate testing tools.
Familiar with troubleshooting digital, analog, and RF circuit cards to component level.
Conduct electrical safety checks of medical instrumentation and solid-state circuits, determine defects and make appropriate repairs.
Maintain and calibrate biomedical equipment including CT scan machines and X-rays.
Gauge subassembly parts to meet requirements for final inspection.
