KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Directing and coordinating the daily activities of the production team at well head, production facility and related marine equipment.
Ensuring that all staff including contractors, have adequate information to carry out tasks safely and efficiently, in compliance with control measures and site safety precautions.
Daily production activities reporting, production data gathering and recording including gas volume calculation from gas charts
Laboratory Analysis of crude oil, produced water and gas etc.
Ensuring that all administrative duties and reporting are done in an accurate and timely manner.
Coaching, mentoring and training subordinates including ensuring training requirements compliance
Ensuring that all operations are carried out in compliance to the QHSE system & policies.
Control well production operations to produce crude oil and gas at required levels to meet the company’s production targets
Timely reporting incidents, abnormalities and non-conformities as captured on Daily and Weekly Operations checklist
Management of Permit-to-work systems (PTW) including controlling isolation/de-isolation certificates and complying with company isolation policy.
Liaising with onshore/office support teams and other departments, keeping them informed of activities that may affect them.
Maintaining adequate spares and tools for timely maintenance of the production facility equipment.
Coordinates the regular maintenance and repair of facility’s equipment
Ensuring adequate support is rendered to all team working at the facility to optimize production uptime and levels.

Good computer skills and being conversant with MS Office packages
Minimum of 10 years of oilfield production/ processing operations experience, 5 years of which must be in supervisory role
Knowledge of instrumentation and controls will be added advantage
Knowledge of Maintenance Management System for Production / Flow Station facility equipment is required.
Diploma /Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline
Offshore survival and HUET (BOSIET) certification
