Job Summary: 

  • Senior Operations Manager needs to meet and exceed business objectives ensuring consistent achievement of all financial and operational KPIs. 
  • Manage, inspire and motivate a number of Operation Managers to ensure operational excellence, high employee engagement and service improvement is achieved. 


Key Responsibilities: 

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving operational systems, processes and policies. 
  • Sourcing for potential public transport (Danfo, BRTs, School shuttle drivers lead and other means of transportation) 
  • Co-ordinating the on-boarding activities of all generated leads. 
  • Planning, developing, participating in drivers requirement campaigns. 
  • Establish, coordinate, direct and evaluate the effectiveness of drivers selection, training and on-boarding process. 
  • Conducting research and implementing strategy that will allow for smooth drivers acquisition. 
  • Responsible for the Operations lead of your team and for the delivery of the overall operational metrics & sales targets. 
  • To have a well-defined Communication and Engagement model in place. 
  • To ensure all teams understand the goal of the business and  the needs of their teams. 
  • Successfully delivering and managing peak service period in the transport system. 
  • Selecting, effectively managing and coaching Operations Managers. 
  • Identifying and highlighting further opportunities for services and process improvements . 
  • Ability to demonstrate achievement of results within a short time frame e.g. business improvements, cost savings, revenue generation. 
  • Excellent leadership, people management, communication and influencing skills at a senior managerial level. 
  • Strong commercial understanding of the Lagos State transport system. 


Job Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree or it’s equivalent in a relevant field. 
  • 3+years of relevant work experience. 
  • Strong technology and system knowledge. 
  • Experience with creation of newly formed department. 
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies.
