Job Description

Mission

  • Within the new WIN (Wholesale & International Carriers) entity, International Carriers (IC) is the entity providing the international connectivity to the operators and internet players around the world.
  • IC is composed of 450 persons, with offices in 13 countries. IC portfolio includes 4 lines of businesses: voice, data, mobile services and security.
  • Within IC, Global Carriers Sales (GCS) is in charge of developing business with the customers outside the Orange group (around 1000 customers) and is organized in 5 geographical areas (North America, Asia, Europe, Middle East and Africa).

Role

  • I am looking for a senior account manager in charge of Western Africa, and will be based in Lagos, Nigeria. You will report to the sales director of Maghreb and West Africa.
  • Your customers will be the MNO, ISP and Content Providers.
  • Your role will be to develop the growth relay of International Carriers with a focus on data services, mobile services and security services.
  • Data services include IP Transit through our IP/IPx PoPs, bandwidth (Wet, backhaul, IRU, Dark fiber, WDM, Ethernet) through our subsea/ terrestrial infrastructure and CDN services through on CDN PoPs in Africa.
  • Mobile services include transport of signaling and data roaming traffic (SS7, LTE, IPX), messaging (SMS P2P/A2P), roaming hub, roaming sponsor…
  • Security services include DDOS, Firewall Signalling, Vulnerability assessment…
  • You will be responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of commercial contracts, on line with the global strategy of International Carriers.
  • You will negotiate and agree on commercial contracts and achieve quantitative and qualitative objectives on the client and prospect portfolio.
  • You will manage relationships with external entities of GCS: Marketing, OINIS, SCA (billing), Delivery, Sourcing, OBS…
  •  You will ensure a clear reporting and a regularly update of our IS system. You will actively participate in our weekly follow-up meeting.

About You

Skills / Knowledge:

  • Experience of 5/10 years of selling wholesales services to carriers and content providers preferably in Africa
  • Strong knowledge of wholesale services, especially in data, mobile and security.
  • Strong sense of diplomacy, development and follow-up of contacts
  • Profile needed : prospection / hunting
  • Fluent in English (oral and written), French will be a plus
