Job Summary

Our client is a leading real estate company who is looking to move from business to business sales to business to consumer sales. We are recruiting for the position of Personal Secretary to the Chair who is in the real estate business (land and a suite of one, two and three-bedroom flats) in the Ibeju Lekki axis Lagos. Performs essential administrative and clerical duties as it pertains to the job. Handles customer relations by being a point of the first contact via email or telephone.

Job Description

  • Answers phone calls and set up meetings with customers
  • Takes messages as necessary
  • Professionally compose mails (without grammatical or typographical errors) or send all information to clients as required
  • Mails cheques or other outgoing funds
  • Takes care of orders of office supplies and other materials
  • Demonstrates product knowledge as required
  • Adheres to company policies and procedure; makes sure that other staff do as well
  • Coordinates the flow of information 
  • Schedules meetings and events
  • Makes copies of pertinent information and documents
  • Greets customers as they arrive at the business
  • Makes sure that customer needs are fulfilled
  • Takes care of incoming and outgoing mail
  • Researches as needed by boss
  • Dictates information as spoken by management
  • Updates any client information as it changes
  • Calls customers to make sure that they had a great customer experience
  • Completes any paperwork on behalf of the company
  • Maintains knowledge of new office equipment; makes suggestions for new equipment based on trends
  • Supports social media as required
  • Manages any projects that need clerical work
  • Organises presentations or note cards for management
  • Meets with clients outside of the office if necessary


Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of secretarial  work experience
  • Experience(preferably in banking and insurance) and understanding of Lagos’ Commercial landscape is Critical

Remuneration: Wage N100, 000-N150,000.
