Mudia Innovation Center is an organization that aims to provide educational support to primary and secondary school students by engaging them in fun hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) activities that will help them gain advantages in thinking, in processing information, and in communication. We are on a mission to support the success of Nigerian learners in STEAM fields.
This will be achieved by providing Nigerian students with the educational support necessary for academic success and career development to help transform Nigeria into Africa’s largest and leading innovation hub for Science and Technology.
We believe that educating Nigerian students in a fun and interactive environment will help them build a career as innovators and inventors. This is an initiative that will encourage students to consider career paths in the technology industry and potentially help strengthen Nigeria’s economic growth.

Who We Are Looking For To Join Our Team:
We are looking for vibrant and charismatic recent graduates that enjoy working with students between the ages of 7 – 18 years old (i.e. pupils in Primary 1 – SS 3).
As a STEAM program instructor, personal grooming and organizational skills are essential to success on the job. You must understand your customers (i.e. young pupils) and know how to engage and communicate effectively with them. It is critical that you key into the overall vision of the organization with the belief that hands-on interactive STEAM education is an integral component in preparing young learners to become leaders in a technology-driven era.

The general duties for this position will include but not limited to the following duties: Train and engage secondary school students within Abuja and its environs in STEAM activities and projects.
Evaluate student’s participation and measure the impact of the program on their educational.Liaise with school administrative staff for support and collaboration to successfully understand the children.
Provide weekly and monthly progress reports.
Program promotion through social media campaigns on various social media platforms.
Bachelor’s degree in any relevant course, preferably computer science and software or mechanical or electrical engineering.Proficiency in any Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software (e.g. TinkerCAD, fusion 360, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).Proficiency in block/visual programming and at least one written based coding language (e.g. Scratch, C, C+, C++, Python, java, Arduino IDE etc.).
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is considered an asset.
