Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing sales team
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands
  • company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
  • Own recruiting, objective setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives 
  • Build and promote strong, long lasting customer relationships by
  • partnering with them and understand their needs
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the  management team 
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of  new products and competition status 
  • Work with senior management team to set revenue and sales goals on
  • a monthly, quarterly or annual basis  Increase customer satisfaction rating by 90% and create innovatively 
  • programs for upselling
  • Work with senior management to devise and implement innovative go-to-market strategies
  • Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and monitor their preferences 
  • Provide expertise when setting and adjusting pricing plans and discount rate  
  • Develop sales strategy to acquire new customers or clients
  • Analyse sales data on sales results and develop plans to address
  • performance gaps
  • Monitor competitors’ activities, economic indicators and industry trends
  • Provide detailed operational reports
  • Set targets, performance plan and objective standards for sales  representative 
  • Resolve escalated customer issues and customers’ complaints  regarding sales and services 
Requirements Qualification and Experience
  • BSc in Business administration, marketing or relevant field is required
  • MSc in relevant field is an added advantage
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and
  • conferences
  • Professional certification qualification in sales and marketing
  • Successful previous experience as a sales manager, consistently
  • meeting or exceeding targets
  • Candidate must have 3 years’ experience in similar role
  • Competence (Knowledge/Skill and Ability)
  • Marketing and sales skill
  • High level of exposure
  • Microsoft office suites
  • Documentation ability
  • Value Driven skill
  • Demonstrate ability to hire high performing sales people
  • Strong ability to coach sales representative for higher performance
  • Ability accurately forecast future sales volume
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all level of organisation
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Proven ability to drive sales process from plan to close
