Job Description

We are specialized in the design, construction, commissioning and servicing of energy solutions for the generation, control and/or distribution of (electric) energy up to 20 MW. As a sales manager you are responsible for the sales in Nigeria of the Renewable and power generation portfolio of Topec Nigeria, for both new installations as well as new service operations and maintenance contracts.

What is the job profile?
With the appointment of the new Sales Manager we are aiming for sustainable growth in our local market. Your goals will therefore be based on expanding existing key accounts and finding new customers for additional sales. In this role you are:
Responsible for sales activities in Nigeria, typical customers would be in the Food & Beverage Industry, and maritime sector
Managing the portfolio of sales which contains diesel, gas generator sets, control panels, auxiliary systems, PV systems and hybrid solutions plus the sales of service (on call, operation and maintenance contracts)
Developing and managing relationships with key accounts, branch organizations and end users
You work from our office in Lagos and will be supported by our sales and engineering team based in the Netherlands

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced sales professional with a successful track record in the selling of similar energy solutions and service contracts. You are capable of working independently but you make sure you keep in touch with your colleagues
You are passionate about sales and have a focus in quality and service. The Sales Manager we are looking for will be a team player with a flexible and independent attitude. In summary we are looking for a Sales Manager with the following key characteristics:
Independent and self-starting
A reliable partner for our existing and new customers
Flexibility to work with different customer profiles and cultures
Ability to switch between short and long term sales
What are the job requirements?
Bachelor level education (preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering)
A minimum of 5 years international/local sales experience
A solid background in selling of Power Generation, Independent Power Plants, PV systems or service contracts
Salary range - 150,000 - 400,000 monthly net
Commission on every sale (including O&M contracts) - 1% - 4%
Travel - 50% of the time
Location: Iganmu- Surulere, Lagos
