Job Description

Job Objective(s)

  • Day to day supervision of sales outlet, offline (brick & Mortal) platforms, including sales, staff, stock and resource management

  • Identify, develop and maintain a relationship with partners willing to display Keexs products
  • Activate agreed on locations by setting up Keexs stand and a trained and kitted merchandiser
  • Maintain all sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training
  • Supervise all sales staff by coaching, counselling and disciplining employees; planning to monitor and appraising job results
  • Ensure promotional materials are well displayed and adequately used at all locations
  • Ensure merchandise in all locations are secured by implementing security systems, where possible and security measures
  • Research, identify and generate sales opportunities within the corporate business system for bulk purchases and an increase in total organisational sales target
  • Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenses, analysing variances and initiating corrective measures


  • Identify top fast-selling products and ensure a consistent¬† and adequate supply of the products to the required outlet
  • Identify top slow-selling products, investigate and manage extraction from outlet to locations where sales can improve
  • Identify slow moving outlets/ partner, analyse the reasons and recommend to the management how to safely salvage the situation without hurting the brand
  • Confer with management to develop methods and procedures to increase sales, expand markets, and promote the business

Competencies Required

  • Strong customer management and leadership skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organisational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Rate of periodic revenue growth
  • Rate of Product return
  • Rate of activation of new locations

  • Weekly/ Monthly Damage Report (per location)
  • Weekly location Activation Report
  • Monthly Stock Report (per location)
  • Exception Report

Qualification & Experience

  • HND or BSc. graduate in any field or discipline preferably social sciences
  • Minimum 5 years experience in sales management in a retail business,1 year minimum at a supervisory role
  • Experience in merchandising¬† and knowledge of an inventory management an advantage.
