They ensure that operational costs are available for daily activities.
They will also be involved in training the enumerators and evaluating and analyzing their performance. They create strategies aimed at helping the team reach their targets, and they maintain these strategies based on the project output. They communicate with the project manager about the project’s progress, key insights and other relevant information. They maintain staff contracts and other official documents.
They need to have at least 4 years of FMCG experience working in informal markets.
They need to be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel (e.g., be able to use Pivot Table, Vlookup, etc.).
They need to have team management experience.
They need to have a Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business or a related field).
They need to be able to read, write, and speak English and the region’s local language well.
Tasks / responsibilities
Build strong relationships with the team and clients.
Train teams and team leaders in required skills such as data collection and customer relationship management.
Ensure that the teams hit their daily targets.
Coordinate efficient routes for the enumerators to work in the markets.
Visit teams in trade.
Make action plans to improve the output of the teams.
Report back daily and weekly to the project manager about progress and any issues.
Manage budgets and staff contracts.
