DESCRIPTION

  • Provide Quality Assurance and Quality Control to assure that the established quality management system is implemented and maintained to achieve its intended results both on projects and within all business divisions
  • Support company proposals team in the review of technical and commercial bids by identifying client Quality requirements in client bid documents and advising Management and PMT of technical and commercial implications
  • Advice Project Management Team on all Quality and fabrication requirements for project start-up in accordance with client specifications
  • Prepare Project QA/QC documentation in line with contract specifications and industry code and standards
  • Deliver audit and assessment program, justifying process improvements, identifying deviations from standards and procedures and recommending the appropriate actions.
  • Develop and perform internal and external Project/Contract related audits
  • Lead and guide all quality inspections in line with contract requirements
  • Assist in supplier selection process through prequalification assessments/audits as required.
  • Coordinate and manage activities of NDT subcontractors
  • Promoting continual improvement of the various processes within the established Quality Management System
  • Ensuring compliance with the national and international standards and legislation.
  • Setting QA/QC compliance objectives and ensuring targets are achieved.
  • Encourage and promote quality awareness throughout all areas of the organization
  • Identifying relevant quality related training needs.
  • General management of Quality within the Project and Ensuring that necessary support is provided to the QA/QC Team to achieve intended results
  • Preparation of weekly QA/QC progress report for the PMT and Corporate
  • Establish, agree and communicate quality objectives.
  • Raise non conformances and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions
  • Implement corrective measures, as an output of a process/ system failure to prevent recurrence.
  • Ensure lessons learned are recorded in appropriate databases and communicated to all concerned.
  • Compilation of Company ISO audits schedules and compliance to the required ISO standard.
  • Ensure quality documentation is maintained in line with Company and Client requirements


REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors of Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Materials) or other science related courses
  • 10-15 years’ experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control roles within oil and gas fabrication/construction industry
  • CSWIP 3.2/ AWS-SCWI or equivalent welding inspection certifications
  • NDT Level III UT, RT, MT & PT will be a strong added advantage
  • Very articulate and excellent communication skills (English Language) both verbal and written
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office packages (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc) and good presentation skills
  • Experience on EPCC and LSTK contracts will be a major advantage
  • Ability to provide knowledge and support in development of the QA/QC staff,
  • Active leadership in health & safety, people, innovation, localization, financial responsibility and integrity
