  • Organizing meetings, interviews, and schedules;
  • Undertaking relevant background research;
  • Develop PR campaigns and media relations strategies
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. marketing) and maintain open communication with senior management
  • Edit and update promotional material and publications (brochures, videos, social media posts etc.)
  • Prepare and distribute press releases
  • Seek opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising
  • Organize PR events (e.g. open days, press conferences) and serve as the company’s spokesperson
  • Address inquiries from the media and other parties
  • Track media coverage and follow industry trends
  • Prepare and submit PR reports
  • Manage PR issues
  • Meeting with programme directors/producers to discuss programmes/shows
  • Taking part in onscreen activities.
  • Planning, researching and writing their own scripts before filming or broadcast.
  • Acting as the host, introduce and interview guests and interact with the audience.
  • Delivering information to the audience in a manner appropriate to the programme.
  • Following detailed instructions from the production team in order to keep everything to plan whilst on air.

Job Requirement

  • 2-3 years work experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Basic knowledge of television terminology and operating procedures.
  • Self-confidence.
  • Interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience as a Public Relations Officer or similar PR role
  • Experience managing media relations (online, broadcast and print)
  • Proficient in MS Office and social media
  • Familiarity with project management software and video/photo editing is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Creativity and problem-solving aptitude
  • Degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or a related field
  • High levels of concentration and multi-tasking ability.
  • An excellent command of English and a clear speaking voice.
  • Must be confident
  • Must have a likable personality.
  • Age Range: 20-26,
  • Salary- 50k (negotiable)
  • Location- Victoria Island
