Essential duties and responsibilities
Define the PMO strategy and lead the design and implementation of a common project management methodology, standards and tools to drive and facilitate the successful delivery of projects.
Lead the execution of a PMO governance, reporting and review framework to provide a holistic view of all organisational project activity.
Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
Coordinating project delivery and eventual promise fulfilment for customers
Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Ensuring resource availability and allocation
Developing a detailed project plan to track project activities and progress
Using appropriate techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
Measuring project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
Reporting and escalating to management as needed
Managing the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
Performing risk management to minimize project risks
Establishing and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation
