Job Description

  • Planning and organizing production schedules
  • Assessing and determining the amount of project and resource requirements (workforce, raw materials etc.)
  • Estimating, negotiating and agreeing on budgets and timescales with clients and managers
  • Enforcing and ensuring health and safety regulations are met
  • Creating and determining quality control standards
  • Overseeing production processes thoroughly (smooth and efficient running of all machines), draw a production schedule
  • Re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary
  • Monitoring orders and purchasing materials
  • Approve equipment purchase, repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
  • Liaise with buyers, marketing team and sales staff
  • Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements
  • Estimate costs and prepare budgets
  • Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers etc.)
  • Ensure output are properly packed and meets quality standards
  • Preparing and undertaking shift duties including nights and weekend
  • Draft and submit a daily report to management.
  • Any other itineraries as assigned by the management

Requirements

  • Proven experience as Production Manager, Project management
  • BSc/Ba in business administration or relevant field is preferred
  • Deep knowledge of production management
  • Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
  • Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
  • Experience in reporting on key production metrics
  • Proficient in MS Office and Enterprise Management Planning (ERP) software
  • Excellent in communication, organizational and leaderships skills
  • Paying attention to detail, versatile and ability to think on toes
  • Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
