The ideal candidate should be able to function independently with no supervision and also act in the capacity of the CEO. The candidate will: Develop and executing effective business strategies and plans that leads to closing sales for the company while ensuring alignment with short-term and long-term objectives Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure the desired results are produced and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission Identify sales leads, pitch services to new clients and close the sale and maintain a good working relationship with all contacts Work with potential clients to find what they want, create solutions and ensure a smooth sales process

Job Description

REPORTS TO: Managing Partner

We are a business and financial advisory firm focused on enterprise turnaround and growth. 
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Find new sales leads, through existing contacts, cold calls, events, business directories, client referrals, etc.
  • Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings
  • Planning, preparing and delivering compelling presentations
  • Setting company budgets and forecasts alongside the finance director.
  • Analysing opportunities for growth in market segments to drive profitability.
  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by
  • planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential clients
  • Adjusts content of sales presentations based on research and studying the type of prospective client in order to ensure they are pitched to appropriately
  • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual client analyses.
  • Recommend changes in service offerings and policy by evaluating results and
  • competitive developments.
  • Understand customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to management
  • Maintain an active database of existing and prospective clients
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational
  • workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
  • Communicating new product developments to prospective clients
  • Overseeing the development of marketing literature as well as other marketing initiatives on social media and other related platforms
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the managing partner/ CEO

Competency and Skill Requirements
Academic Qualification
  • BSc/BA in Business, Marketing or relevant field
  • Professional certification of relevance will be an added advantage
  • Work Experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in financial advisory and/ or management consulting
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in B2B/ services’ sales
  • Minimum of 8 years combined working experience
  • Proven experience in leading projects/ engagements from end-to-end
  • Proven experience as a goal getter with superior ability to deliver on set targets
  • Proven track record for meeting sales goals
Personal Skills
  • Strong client relationship management skills with a significant database of existing contacts/ relationships that can be leveraged
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Highly motivated to make sales
  • Excellent organizational skills, with emphasis on priorities and goal setting
  • Good understanding of marketing, social media and other related promotional
  • platforms
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, report writing,
  • presentation and negotiation skills
  • Technical skills required to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on client requirements
  • Ability to communicate product and service offerings clearly
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision and see through the delivery of projects from end to end
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and result orientation
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Flexible and able to multi-task
  • Ability to develop useful business networks, communicate and interact effectively
  • Appreciable knowledge of technology with excellent analytical and project
  • management skills
  • Good appreciation and working knowledge of office productivity tools
Expected Annual Gross Salary
Guaranteed take-home pay ranging between N500,000 – N650,000
Quarterly bonus at a percentage of profits
Other Key  Terms and  Conditions 
Minimum of six weeks’ notice to terminate the contract
25 working days of leave
