ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Includes the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Reviews and enters customer orders
  • Investigates, coordinates, and resolves customer problems
  • Works cross functionally to resolve problems
  • Participates on teams to drive process improvement
  • To liaise with forwarder on clearing procedures, documentation and product certification process
  • Coordinate sales orders and related activities to sales order flow process
  • Analyses reports from ERP to identify potential issues in executing orders on time
  • Drive vendor performance to meet customer requirements through Vendor Managers
  • Coordinate all purchase activity and coordinates with Vendor Relations Agent to facilitate expediting procedure
  • Prepares all necessary reports for regular management meetings
  • Investigates, coordinates and resolves customer problems with deliveries and discrepancies with purchase orders
  • Assists in proposal writing and presentations as required
  • Produces regularly scheduled reports from computer databases
  • Trains other team members in all aspects of ERP system as related to performing all of the above requirements
  • Understands and performs functions in accordance with ISO standard 9001-2000



  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Purchasing & Supply Chain Management or Logistics Management) or any relevant field
  • 1-3 years in ordering processing, operations or customer support in depot operations and environment
  • Attention to detail, follow through, communication skills
  • Demonstrated excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Experience with customer service, order management and product fulfillment workflows
  • Experience with clearing and forwarding at the various port in Lagos
  • Strong analytical and problem solving experience, combined with strong business judgment and ability to present analysis in  a clear and compelling manner
  • Solid working knowledge of commercial CRM and ERP systems
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex strategic and operational initiatives
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Female preferred
