Job Summary

The logistics assistant supports the logistician in implementing and supervising all logistical activities at his/her assigned base. In particular, he/she lends support to carrying out urgent activities and the filing and archiving logistical documents. He/she temporarily takes on the basic tasks of the logistics manager in their absence

  • Minimum Qualification: Degree
  • Experience Level: Entry level
  • Experience Length: 2 years

Requirements
Personal Abilities:
  • Professional experience: 2 years of experience in a similar position (NGO/Private or Public sector)
  • Languages: English, Haussa, Kanuri
  • Personal qualities: reliable, honest, very good organization, resistance to stress, good interpersonal skills (communication), team player, the capacity to delegate and to manage, initiative and autonomy, the capacity of prioritization of tasks             
Technical Competences:
  • Training: BSc. Economic, management administration supply, social science
  • Logistics related skills: good knowledge supply chain management, Store management, ICT skill.
  • Microsoft Office ( Excel and Word skills).
  • Management related skills
