Job Description

  • Provide company secretarial services to retained and adhoc clients of the firm
  • Provide legal advice to the firm’s clients who are engaged across different industries.
  • Any other duty that may be assigned by the firm
  • Typical responsibilities of company secretarial role include:
  • Convening and servicing annual general meetings (preparing agendas, taking minutes, handling meeting correspondence and so on)
  • Providing legal advice during and outside of meetings
  • Advising directors and Management on corporate governance matters
  • Keeping abreast up to date with any regulatory or statutory Changes and policies that might affect client companies
  • Ensuring that policies are up to date and are approved
  • Servicing board its committees

An intelligent qualified Legal practitioner with a bias for commercial practice.  The ideal candidate will be expected to perform two roles:


  • Qualification: legal practitioner (1 – 3 years post call). Membership of Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators or Ongoing qualification towards same is an advantage
