Job Summary

The Industrial/Production Chemist designs, runs, troubleshoots and improves the processes of chemical and material production on an industrial scale.

Job Description

The successful candidate would be responsible for the following;

 Conducting laboratory tests to ensure the quality of raw materials, finished products and packaging materials before they are used in the production process

Conducting laboratory research to find out effective ways to optimize production processes

Ensure that the tests for quality used are compliant with the regulatory standards

Ensuring that the facility maintains environmentally sustainable production activities


Minimum of a BSc degree in Industrial chemistry, Biochemistry or any other related field

Minimum of five (5) years working experience in the quality control department of a food and beverages production company

Experience with Health, Safety and Hygiene practices

Good knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)

Currently working in a plant and has knowledge of the country's regulation.
