Job Description


  • Possess a degree in Human Resources or management or its equivalent
  • At least 5 years working experience in the HR field.
  • Member of CIPM , NIM is an added advantage
  • Computer literate particularly with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word & Microsoft Power Point
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to details, willingness to develop & learn new skills 
  • Knowledgeable in the use of SAP and other HR software’s
  • Good writing, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Able to work under pressure and efficiently
  • Ability to communicate effectively & professionally 
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment, including but not limited to, computers, telephone systems, copiers and facsimile machines. 
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Positive & pro-active attitude towards work 
  • Ability to prepare , demonstrate and interpret data analysis and reports
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to speak good English
  • Discretion, confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Thorough understanding of Nigeria’s labor and employment laws in tune with the labor, tax laws, permissible working hours, minimum wages, and a no-discrimination policy.

  • Working Relationships Internal: Works closely with CEO, Executive Director Services, Executive Director Operations, Head of Finance and Account, Accounts Executive, and all staff of the company and external clients: Coordinates with suppliers and vendors, visitors, guests 
  • Adequate ability to implement strategic organizational change to increase productivity and employee satisfaction

  • Responsible for the overall quality system in HR department 
  • Understanding and executing staffing requisition, requirements and issues from all departments 
  • Draft and updating of documents such as job descriptions, employee handbook, performance appraisal forms & Execution, policies and other HR related documents. 
  • Sourcing candidates via recruitment agencies and job online advertisement  
  • Screening the candidates by resume shortlisting, phone interview and personal interviews with coordination with the concerned departments & background verification of the shortlisted candidates
  • Issuing Letter of Offer/Intent/Employment after final approval obtained
  • Maintain employees’ leaves, medical and attendance record. Keeping track of employees’ attendance / absenteeism and report to Management. 
  • Design and prepare a short and long term growth strategy and plans for the company
  • Prepare a feasible and realistic departmental yearly budgeting
  • Preparing investment plan based on financial analysis
  • Review, update and maintain proper filing such as employees’ medical insurance policies
  • Conduct orientation program and briefing to new employee
  • Setting up / Update / Forward email addresses for new employees and resigned employees.
  • Attending / Understanding employee’s grievances in their work engagement level and implement corrective measures for them
  • Conduct exit interviews to identify reasons for employee’s termination 
  • Planning of company events or activities on occasions by management’s approval 
  • Organizing training sessions or trainings for employees ensuring they are fully equipped to be able to perform their duties. 
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support in the implementation of human resource policies, procedures, and ensure smooth office operations within the company. 
  • Manage the work pass applications (for expatriates on twp) and status including monitor of the expiry dates. 
  • Prepare confirmation letters, and monitor contract expiry for renewals.
  • Update and manage employee records.
  • Perform other Administrative duties as assigned. 
  • Acquire and maintain office furnishing, equipment and supplies, and provides administrative support for the maintenance of the telephone, communication and computing system.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate filing and information flow systems including filing of MOUs and vendor contracts and other important documents.
  • Coordinate and provide administrative support for quarterly Board meetings. 
  • Provide administrative support for the CEO such as meeting scheduling and travel arrangements
  • Responsible for collecting and analyzing employee data and maintaining accurate and complete employee records
  • Prepare a plan and devise strategic campaigns and guidelines for recruiting suitable candidates for a required job description. 
  • Assist in helping the new hires get acquainted with the organization’s work pattern, imperatively a training program for every new employee based on the skill set required for their job ( in house , internally and externally) further contribute towards employee motivation and retention
  • Enroll employee to attend conferences, trade shows, seminars etc. for self-development and a positive contribution to the company, thus increasing employee engagement
  • Carrying out timely performance appraisals and giving them feedback on their work and suggest necessary measures for the same
  • Monitoring attendance and tracking leaves forms , proper management of the clock-in/out time to avoid late arrivals
  • Preparing payroll with adequately calculating of salaries, wage-cuts, reimbursements, and generation of pay slips.
