Job Description

Job Mission
Your mission is to lead the core sales team to ensure that the customers are acquired, satisfied and retained, company’s financial targets are met and to create a world-class sales environment where the team is supported, coached and trained under your guidance

Key responsibilities
  • Your team is responsible for over 5000 Active Clients on Jobberman’s database, ensuring repeat business from them and providing the best service
  • You are responsible for finding new business for the organization and supporting your team to do the same
  • It is your job to build and maintain relationships with existing and new clients and ensure that your revenue and jobs targets are achieved by doing this
  • You are mandated to train, coach and performance manage your team members who will work together with you to ensure the success of your role
  • You have a responsibility to manage the sales talent pipeline by overseeing the sales academy students and building salesperson capabilities within the cohort
  • You will role model Jobberman culture and performance standards e.g. CRM compliance within your team
  • Organizational:
  • You manage the Jobberman sales team and deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Reporting:
You report weekly to the CEO
You ensure that you and your team members consistently use and update the CRM.

Functional:
  • Meet and exceed annual sales targets.
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Understand category-specific landscapes and trends
  • Report on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts
  • Align with HR on sales training calendars and ensure constant training and coaching of the team
  • Other related activities and assignments as assigned by supervisor

Key skills and competencies

Skills:
  • HND or BSC in a business-related discipline
  • 15 years+ proven track record and experience in B2B sales
  • Proven business development experience
  • Excellent use of MS office packages
