Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a shared vision for the Business in partnership with the Board and management team, in line with the business principles and clearly communicate the shared vision to staff, owners and the local community.
  • Must have industry experience
  • Develop a sound annual budget for review and approval by the Board 
  • Provide monthly and quarterly financial performance updates to the Board and recommend strategies to improve financial performance
  • Manage the team of credit and loan officers
  • Manage loan and investment portfolio
  • Have a track record of meeting set targets
  • In line with the Business’s vision and mission, develop, maintain and annually update a multiyear strategic plan for Board review and approval
  • Maintain a fair and safe work environment free of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation
  • Maintain a consistent employee review structure and provide feedback on job performance; provide training and advancement opportunities
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Coop Management Committee
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Experience with commercial banking would be an added advantage
  •

Professional Requirements:

  • Master of Business Administration
  • Good university first degree in any discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
