The ideal candidate will coordinate sales and marketing activities across the northern region, achieving revenue targets across all sales channels.
He will assist in the development of a clear strategy and business plan across all the regions comprised, including training and motivation of sales teams in the region managing and directing sales both internal and external.
Drive sales and marketing schemes to deliver all sales targets.
Develop and drive value relationships with relevant stakeholders, dealers, and contractors.
Develop profitability through product mix, customer mix, and pricing policy.
Ensure all customers receive adequate call rates and exposure
to company personnel including themselves and other senior managers.
Ensure that the target sales of development products are achieved in line with company expectations to control expenditure across the department and ensure profitability.
Required Qualification, Knowledge & Experience.
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences,
Sciences or Engineering. An MBA or Master’s Degree will be an added advantage.
A minimum of 10 years work experience of which at least 6 years must have been spent driving sales at management
Proven track record of successful achievements in sales across the petroleum downstream or an FMCG multinational
A seasoned profit center professional with strong sales leadership skills.
Knowledge of the business affinity and linguistics of the area
including residence/living in the north is preferred.
Must not be less than 35 years of age.
Software Proficiency (excel, word, powerpoint) is required.
