Sourcing of risk asset to increase the income of the bank
Planning and execution of all aspects o the bank’s marketing activities
Supervision of all departments activities to ensure prompt and efficient service delivery, accurate and timely reports etc
Visiting clients to canvass for transactions and solve client’s problems
Determining customers’ needs and matching them with suitable products to meet the needs
Preparation of weekly manager’s report
Compilation of monthly Marketing Performance Report (MPR) for PMFB and to generally monitor company overall marketing performance
Continous monitoring of service delivery in PMFB to ensure efficiency and effectiveness to meet acceptable standard of customer satisfaction
Prospecting for and handling of new customers and referrals
Liaison with other departments/units on client’s transactions
Carry out periodic review of exiting products and creation of new products
Identify and recommend promotional advertisement and publicity needs of PMFB and strategies for meeting them
Manage all the personnel training, office equipment, logistics and other needs of the department and to report on them
Member of Investment management committee, manager’s meeting
Participate actively in formation of marketing policies, strategies & direction for PMFB
Carry out any other duties assigned by management
Responsible for supervision of the teams that prepare Management Accounts and reports, Funds management, general ledger, fixed assets and revenue assurance.
Strong background in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and its applications with ability to advise on new standards and perform adequate gap analysis between old and new.
Review of Group reports and ensure they are fully compliant with IFRS along with requisite analysis.
Ensure Internal Controls are in place to ensure assets of the Organization are well secured and properly maintained.
Ensure Polices are in place and reviewed; team members are adhering to them to ensure adequate process work flow.
Report to GMD/CEO for the marketing performance of the company.
Continuous monitoring of service delivery in PMFB to ensure efficiency and effectiveness to meet acceptable standard of customer satisfaction.
To ensure accuracy and authenticity of transactions by clients.
Monitoring Customer complaints and resolution.
Work with the team to develop financial goals and objectives and give them the appropriate tools to adhere by them.
Ensure timely preparation of accurate monthly Management Accounts.
Supervision: Reports to the Management and Board of Directors, Finance Contacts: Job holder will liaise on a day-to- day basis with other the management team, other groups/departments; Technical, Project Management, Marketing Strategy, Administration etc., on financial issues.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking or any financial courses.
Possession of an MBA will be an added advantage.
Possession of ICAN or its equivalent is also an added advantage.
Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in Finance and Banking roles at Commercial and Microfinance Banks with at least five (5) years’ experience in a managerial role.
