Job Description

A start up Energy Procurement & Contracting Company in ABUJA is urgently looking to recruit a General Manager, who is very strong, posses the energy and drive of an entrepreneur, to lead the company and get it profitably operational. 

The successful candidate will be leading other team members and report directly to the Managing Director. The right candidate will be coordinating the administrations and operating activities of the company. He or she will be interfacing with both the public and private sector clients of the Company.  

The ideal person for the job will have the overall responsibility for business development , and must therefore have a clear plan, target, network and strategy for effective marketing to ensure the success of the business. As a strong entrepreneur, he will be developing new business ideas and proposals for new projects and ideas. As a newly established start up in Energy Procurement and Contracting Company, the right candidate must be confident enough to brainstorm and use his established network in the industry to generate robust business development and place it on the path of leadership among the competitors in the industry.  

SKILLS REQUIRED:

The candidate must have a business operation engineering and administration related experience, with ability to conduct administrative roles within the energy sector business. 

 The Successful Candidate must also have extensive experience within the Energy sector (OIL&GAS) industry and also with an added experience as at the Executive Level.

The right Candidate must be methodical in his or her approach with a multi-talented back-ground, with an exceptional leadership ability and talent in managing and nurturing young talents into maturity.

He or She must also be able to demonstrate a progressive track record of success within their career and also a sound commercial business understanding. Other useful experience in IT, Legal and Accounting are also an added advantage.  

REMUNERATIONS:

Remunerations will be in accordance with the class and quality of candidate but it will be in accordance with the market rate and also negotiable and very attractive.

Adequate support, facility, logistics and enabling environment will be made available to ensure the overall success of the chosen candidate.
