Job Summary

We are a finance, governance and tax consulting company delivering successful solutions to businesses. We work with different businesses from small to medium and large sized businesses. We urgently require the services of a competent and confident Finance Manager. The individual must have solid professional experience from a reputable practice firm or a prior finance manager experience from an established organisation for a minimum of 5 years.

Job Description

The job responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of Budgets
  • Maintaining Accounting Records
  • Preparation of Management Accounts
  • Supervision of Accounts/ Finance Activities
  • Management of Receivable and Payable
  • Invoicing
  • Costing
  • Liaising with other departments and business units on a range of issues
  • Providing advice on financial matters impacting on the company as a whole
  • Taking responsibility for, and supervising the work of, more junior members of staff
  • Preparing financial reports and submissions to relevant government entities;
  • Banking money and cheques received and issuing receipts as requested or needed;
  • Recommend and maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over Finance Department activities
  • Other delegated responsibilities by the superiors

To be considered, you must:

  • Have a minimum of BSc / HND
  • Be (or close to becoming) a professional member of a reputable accounting body. 
  • Be computer literate and proficient on Microsoft Office plus experience with any accounting software package
  • Possess strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Be detail oriented and organized; 
  • Maintain professional confidentiality and discretion in all aspects.
