Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers met and unmet needs, and recommend solutions that optimise value for both the customer and the firm Secures input from all necessary solution stakeholders within the customer firm.
Strong understanding of the ERP ecosystem and products.
Maintain strong relationships with INFOR channel team, partner technology specialists, and partner sales executives Keep up with INFOR product announcements and sales incentives and programs.
Communicate important product changes to consulting and sales teams. Assists in the development of go-to-market and sales strategies.
Opportunistically pursue additional business development opportunities within clients and collaborates with sales team to ensure these opportunities are effectively covered and advanced.
Provide coaching and professional development to team member and sales associates in order to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills
Meets assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines, market areas, channel, or teams supported.
Coordinate closely with internal sales and delivery resources to align each solution design with customer’s business requirements also secure from customer technical staff commitments needed to ensure a deal technical close.
Adapts and presents solutions and demonstrations, as necessary, to ensure appropriate support
Works deals assigned to the sales team supported, prioritise effort based on maximising total impact on team productivity and profit, or as directed by Practice Leaders or Sales Leadership.
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3+ years of verifiable sales or sales engineering experience (business-to-business) with focus on ERP systems.
- A record of achievement and technical solution expertise in a comparable sales role Product certification, engineering credential, or equivalent technical credential
- Experience in selling professional service
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a diverse group of people.
Willingness to adapt to new projects quickly with a can-do, jump-right-in attitude
Ability to fully utilise Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Organised and detailed oriented
Excellent verbal, written communication, active listening and interpersonal skills
Capability to work independently, take initiative with minimal supervision yet can participate as a team member with a willingness to help where needed.
Experience in EPM, Cloud Tech/Infrastructure services, Managed Services sales a big plus.
Track record in working with small and/or large enterprise customers.
