Job Description

The Director of Sales will drive the company’s sales revenue  goals and targets ensuring that short and long term strategic goals are achieved. 

He will ensure that revenue is maximized across all retail service stations and sales channels pan Nigeria. 
Manage, train, develop, monitor, set objectives and motivate direct reporting staff according to company procedures and policy. 
He/she will seek out new business opportunities/revenue  drivers for the company through a combination of sales planning and execution, partner enablement, business planning, and 
post-sales support.
He/she will be directly responsible for building the  relationships with the company’s third-party partners to develop a robust pipeline of sales opportunities to meet its aggressive 
revenue growth objectives.
The role will be responsible for planning, monitoring and  ensuring the achievement of customer and revenue market share objectives; delivering operational excellence in distribution, 
channel management and market expansion.
Lead all stages of the sales cycle as needed to support the
conversion of opportunities to sales.
Work effectively across company to drive strategic initiatives;  manage sales pipeline and report results to key internal stakeholders. 
Responsible for overall sales success.
Required Qualification, Knowledge & Experience.
A minimum of a Bachelors degree in a social science/business-related course, sciences or Engineering. An MBA or Masters 
The degree will be preferred.
A minimum of 15 years of work experience out of which at least 6  years must have been spent leading sales at a senior level. 
Proven track record of successful achievements in sales  across the petroleum downstream or an FMCG multinational 
company.
A seasoned profit center professional with strong sales leadership skills. 
Highly analytical and problem-solving ability.
Proactive, initiative and creative and highly result-oriented.
Must not be less than 35 years of age.
Software Proficiency (excel, word, powerpoint) is essential.
The ideal candidates should possess the character,  temperament, resilience and work ethics required for top positions/professionals. Candidates should be self-driven and result oriented, very alert and fully committed professionals/leaders.
